in a case. I want to wire these and my cold caths (led on top, cath underneath some frosted plexi) and wire them into one switch:

you'll need to run wiring from one of the 12v lines (either + or -, preferrably -) to the switch, then back to the unit, basically splice the switch into one of the 12v lines.

you're better off hooking into the negative side of things, so when the switch operates theres less chance of arcing the contacts that wille ventually make the switch unuseable.

quick mspaint sketch I did for ya (Im at work lol)

lol.. that beings me to my next question... which wires are 12 volts?

Get a volt meter and measure across some capacitors. Once you find it you should be able to trace it back to the power supply regulator. If it's just coming straight from a cable or connector your guess is as good as mine. I'm kind of a n00b, but I know my way around a circuit board. lol

I guess I missed this...

Anyways, if you're talking about 12V lines from the PSU, they're the yellow ones. Yellow for positive, black for ground. All the grounds should be the same, so it shouldn't matter which you use, but you might want to use the one paired with it (on molex, etc) just to be safe.

That is correct.
