Activision to Infinity Ward: Thanks for the money, now GET OUT!

So from what I've read, basically, the founders of Infinity Ward (the studio who brought up COD:MW and MW2) weren't too happy with Activision trying to squeeze every last penny out of the franchise at the cost of quality. So, naturally, Activision took over their company and fired them. :facepalm:

Lawsuits ensue.

Good job, Activision, you're making it easier and easier for me to not buy any of your products.

Apprently the firing was pretty impressive a private security company turned up and physically removed the IW excutives from the building.

Also I there where issues over the direction of where the franchise was to go. The rumor is Activision wanted IW to do another WWII game and the IW exces didn't want to.

Its a shame MW2 turned out this way. I really enjoyed CoD4 and do enjoy playing MW2 but they could have definently done better by not pulling the whole no dedicated server crap. Only if all the customization/callenges/rewards were apart of CoD4

It's almost impressive how hard Activision seems to be working to destroy all of the IP that they've acquired over the last few years...

I really wish that Infinity Ward would just all get together, sue their way out of the contract, and ditch Activision. Either that, or if they can't get out of the contract, just have all the employees quite and start a new company with a different name, doing exactly the same thing that they were before, just not for Activision. :P

Actually, apparently they are suing Activision for the rights to the "Modern Warfare" name. Here's hoping they win.
