How do you recomend to etch a design into plexiglass?

I have seen Glass Etching Cream but do they make it for plexiglass?

Yes, they also make spray cans that are around 90psi and have etch particles in it, does something like a sandblast etch. Go to a craft store and ask the people there they will probably know tons of other ways to do this.

A good plastic film stencil and coarse sandpaper works well, and there are always the dermel etch bits.

I'd get a small piece of plexy and try what ways you like and see which works the best for you. What works for one person don’t always works well for others, esp. the dremel bits, some might think they are the best thing ever other might think they are impossible to control.

It's an acid, and will etch acrylic.
