Fake Intel CPUs at Newegg

After talking to several sources on this, it seems that Newegg was in fact selling counterfeit Intel processors.

they weren't counterfeit apparently they were demo boxes (according to newegg), but still embarrassing that they got shipped to the customer even if they were demo boxes!

Barring further evidence, I believe Newegg's explanation (at least that they didn't know they weren't actually CPUs). Sucks for the people who got them though.
