Who else is really looking forward to The Pacific (http://www.hbo.com/the-pacific/)? Premier is tomorrow night. I definently have high hopes. Band of Brothers is by far the best mini-series/movie about WWII imo and I hope The Pacific can really compare.

I am disappointed that I do not have HBO so I cannot watch this. :( hopefully it comes out on DVD really really fast.

I am also super excited as well. I loved Band of Brothers a local tv network is showing the premier soon apprently. A lot of it was filmed in northern Australia as they can pass it off as various hell holes in the Pacfic.
