Is this really the only forum that's reasonably active?

The other forums get lots of views, and are fairly active. Somedays more so then others. Weekends-monday are most likely the best for the Worklogs as people tend to do work over the weekend.

If you are speaking of the other modding forums on the net then yes TBCS is still the most active. We have the coolest contest also.

As for the most active forum on TBCS the chatterbox does see a lot of action but the works in progress section does also.

Hahaha, nice. :D

Agreed though; the chatterbox and works in progress are the most active portions, probably because ~60% or so of what goes on outside of worklogs is random BSing, and that doesn't fit too well into one of the other categories. :P

It's after the Christmas modding rush and too early for summer Modders. By the end of the month you'll start seeing ideas kicking around, a few modders talking about their big plans, then summer will roll in with a cavalcade of new mods and a flurry of forum activity. There will be a short lull in autumn (fall) before people start talking about their Christmas mods.

I've got worklogs on a couple other forums too, and I find TBCS is by far the most active. People seem to do a lot of looking on this and other forums, but this is the only one where people tend to respond pretty consistently. I'm really glad this was the first one I found and joined - had I joined one of the other less active ones first, who knows if I would have felt as strong a drive to mod as I do now.

Hmmm...I need to get me one of those! A universal model though, so I can use it at any time during my net adventures. I'll Google "first!!1!!1!" and various other terms then push and hold that sucker down.

I hereby retract all erroneous and damaging comments I've made regarding TBCS staff. I do so by my own freewill. No staff members twisted my arm, threatened my family or friends, threatened to take away my ability to use the banana smiley, or extorted gargantuan amounts of rep from me. They are gentle souls that kindly oversee the peaceful and active existence of the TBCS community. They make fun modding contests for the entertainment of the masses and not to further their own secretive agenda of world modding domination. They also generously educate us on various modding and technology topics via the TBCS Front Page News because they know what we need to know. Again, I type these words by my own will, not because anyone has emailed me screenshots of a cursor over a ban button or made other threats of any kind.:)
