I'm not sure what I was expecting I guess? Actual help based on my message? Ha! That's a good one.

Anyone know what my issue is? Aside from using myspace of course. ;)

Thanks for contacting MySpace.

Hey, we're crazy-attached to our mobile phones too.

If MySpace Mobile isn't working, here's what you do:

1. click the Contact MySpace form (on the left side of MySpace Help at http://faq.myspace.com)

2. choose Mobile and Product issue from the drop-down menus

3. tell us your mobile phone carrier

4. give us your phone model

5. copy and paste your MySpace URL (that's the http:// address that appears in the top browser bar when you visit your profile)

6. give us your phone number (if you have a new number, please include both the old and new numbers)

7. provide a brief description of the issue

For more info on MySpace Mobile, visit http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=mobile.

Once we receive your request, we'll investigate so you can be back up and running in no time!

Sincerely,
The MySpace Support team

Your message
I'm on an iPod Touch using Safari and every time I click the Full Site button on any myspace mobile page, it'll take me to the Full Site login page but once I login it automatically redirects to the Mobile version. How can I use the Full Site version of Myspace??

People still use myspace? And in my experience sites that have an iphone site will only let you use that version of the site on your iPhone / iTouch. Facebook and youtube are like that on my iTouch. I have to use the facebook app or the iPhone version of facebook. Can not get past the login page by trying the full site. Youtube forces me to use the included youtube app and will let me search videos in safari but will not load them in safari.

I think the obvious answer lies in your platform.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Safari, not myspace. I just used a different browser (iDroid) and it worked just fine. That's almost comical!

Droid does. ....even on an Apple device with Apple software. lol

I've used Full versions of websites in Safari before though. So maybe it's an Apple/Myspace combined effort to suck as much as possible.

I think safari as a whole is a total fail. I absolutely despise that browser. I would take IE over Safari any day.

I am almost sure its a problem with the site detecting you are using an i device and forcing you to access their alternate site that was designed just for that i device. The reason it works on the droid app is that it detects chrome or what ever and does not recognize the device as being an i device. There is a module for the Drupal CMS that will convert parts of your site to i device friendly and from my understanding it will force those devices to use only the "enhanced" version of the site.
