And let the battle begin. I'll let these pics do the talking:

I'm not sure why NZXT decided to make this case only take smaller PSUs, but hey, I remember some journalist (talking about Mr. Van Halen's guitars) that beauty is in the ear of the beholder or something to that effect. I'm busting out the dremel after dinner and getting this bad boy in there. It'll fit, but the motherboard tray and bottom PCI slot is in the road.
Not for much longer, that is.

Is it me or...

does this look really bent out of shape?
Could that be some of the reason its not fitting right?

Yeah, she bent a bit. Took a tumble onto the gravel at home. And no, that's not the reason--there were (and I emphasize the word were) some indentations on the mobo tray to hold a smaller PSU in place. I'm to a point now where I'm about to start popping rivets to get the back tray cut down to size. I'll up some pics in a bit.

I think I'm going to leave the rivets for tomorrow. Long day + power tools = potential for an accident.

I believe that PSU is an Antec-only size standard, I think its designed to fit in their P193 chassis.
Should be interesting to see it mounted in here though.

Confirmed. Two other chassis too. Worst case scenario, I get some angle aluminum and really start tearing **** apart.
I've messed around with this concept far too long to let something as minor as this stop me.

More falling down the stairs and landing (somewhat) on my feet:

That said, I've got an Antec 850 watt PSU for sale. I'll shuffle some stuff at home and throw my 600 Coolermaster in here for now.
Back to newegg I go...

Update time!
I got my new PSU via Newegg earlier this week. Linky (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341018).
Got my decals off of Ebay. Been toying with this idea for a while now. Linky (http://cgi.ebay.com/5150-Holographic-Decal-Sticker-EVH-Van-Halen-Guitar-/180423590119?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item2a021580e7).
And NZXT was kind enough to send me another side panel free of charge. What a top notch company!
So now...I'll mark out my window properly, cut and deburr and then paint. Debating on how far I want to take said paintjob.
And yeah yeah yeah, I know that some here think I should airbrush this, but history shows that Ed used spraypaint.
Taking chassis home tonight and transplanting the tri core to see how she fits, pics sometime this weekend!

I have the same exact PSU and a case that only fits ATX power supplies. I ended up throwing mine in the drive bay holders. What NZXT case is that?

It's the Gamma case that I reviewed a few months back.
