Built this for my Taekwondo instructor. He wanted a water-cooled rig so I used parts I had around.

Here is a better shot of the inside. I wish the SATA cables were longer so the curliness would be more pronounced

HeheheehThe wife and I are both 2nd DD black belts working on our third degree. I also have trained the ground fighting camp our dojang holds in the Summer. Our form of TKD blends in other arts such as Krav Maga, Escrima, and such (we train extensively with weapons - as black belts we have to pass two forms or kata with weapons and one traditional one in addition to passing sparing, board breaks, and a fitness test). We can spar as long as ground-fighting is included ;) I have a wrestling background as well (and have had other 'defense' training for jobs I have done).

Hahaha, very nice, very nice. Shorinryu is a traditional Okinawan style that dates back to god only knows when. Kobudo is the same deal, traditional Okinawan. I've been doing Shorinryu for about 14 years come this September and I'm looking at about 8 in Kobudo. I've also done some training in Aikido (had to stop due to back problems) and Gojuryu (Master Miyagi), so I know my way around the floor. As per wrestling, I was never very good, so I'd have to win the fight off the floor. It would be pretty interesting. >DD Now if it were a weapons match, I'd probably have an upper hand. Hehehe, what weapons have you worked with other then Escrima Sticks?

LMFAO, please tell me you're not the one with crap all over your pants. And as for ground fighting, you'd definitely have an advantage merely because of size; I'm a wiry little kid, so speed is kinda my forte. And the sword video, you're the one farther away from the camera, right? Just assuming it's you because his technique is better than the one closer to the camera.

Hahaha, well good. Your technique is far better than the person closer to the camera. Hahaha, as for the ground fighting video, it was pretty comical indeed. =D

I should have a few videos from the coming tournament I'm competing in this May. I have a video somewhere from last year; I performed a Bokken kata as I don't own a sword. >_<

This year I'll probably be doing some kind of Bo / Kama kata. Haven't decided. Sparring will be included as well. =D

Nice build very colourful.

It is good to see some other Taekwondo people out there. I got to a WTF place nearby.

Ah, I see. For a first degree weapons belt at our dojo, we need to know at least one kata with each weapon. Where I didn't have an instructor for like, 3 years, I was a little behind, so my current instructor had his "star pupil" I guess you could call him, mentor me. He pretty much just threw a bunch of kata at me to see what would stick. Unfortunately, I also developed all his bad habits, so now I've been dubbed "Navarro Junior". Hahaha

TKD first degree: regular kata, single chuck kata, single stick kata
TKD second degree: regular kata, double chuck kata, double stick kata
TKD third degree: regular kata, bo staff kata, double kama kata, think they added a sword kata as well

Lol, hmmm, very nice. Just one of the many difference between styles I suppose. We start with Bo in Kobudo. That, and weapons and open hand are two different belts.
