VERY nice!

Why not hold out for Thuban? It should get close, with six cores, no less!

Should I go ahead and say something about the other TBCS test rig going up?

Should I out do you both? :P

The three of us should have a friendly competition, once all the rigs are built.

My pockets aren't as deep as they were, but that's never where my speed came from.

If you guys wanna drag when we get them assembled, I'm down.

I'm down. Right now I have an i7, but I'm gunning for a 980x.

The reason I did not hold out for the 6 core Phenom is that I got the x4 at a price I could not refuse.

Least we keep all the bases covered.

BTW, you'll need well over 4 to get close to what I'll be capable of...

I can hit 4 on it on air with no voltage increase

4.2 has been done on air on a cheap cooler. I think I can get 4.5 out of her.

Kayin, you think you can hit over 4 with your new chip? Good luck with that!

What sorta drag are we running? SuperPi? We are benching CPU only, right?

Kayin

Why? Can't you hang with a pair of 4870x2s?

Besides, if we run anything CPU only, we run CineBench. It doesn't play AMD vs Intel favorites.

I can steal my bros 5870's if you would like. That'll hang about par with a pair of 4870x2's. Otherwise, I use a 5770 in my main rig.
