Hey guys, Quick riddle for you!

My girlfriend has a laptop thats touch pad wont allow her to click down on. You can move the mouse all around and scroll up and down and the two buttons under the touch pad work. I tried reinstalling the driver for the touch pad but no luck. Any one have any ideas why on earth the pad wouldnt be working? She runs Vista (YUCK). +Rep to any one that can solve this problem. Thanks guys.

Mouse properties>Device Settings> Settings> Tapping> Enable Tapping?

I'm willing to put money NO company would have this unchecked as default... and since you said you reinstalled the drivers I doubt this could be your issue but I figured I'd post anyway.

Has it always been this way? Just recently started acting up? Whats it say under device manager?

/\ This would be my guess. Since everything else works, it feels like a setting off somewhere.
