I'm trying to compile a list of key learning topics that grades 6-college learn about. I found an easy way to do this is just going through the table of contents in textbooks. I need this list to be beyond thorough, everything from first aid, health, law, math, history, science, english, theater, art, shop, sports, computer science, photography, etc.

I would greatly appreciate any input on topics/subtopics.

are you talking up to college, or college level as well? I have a ton of textbooks from school (college) that I can peruse for you.

How in-depth are you looking for? For example, do you want 'Physics', 'Particle Physics', or 'The affects of neutron spin on the surrounding environment'? Also, is this just curiosity or are you trying to decide a course load for yourself or someone else?

I'm actually doing a personal project. My goal is to make a flow chart of courses broken down into study points for as many courses as possible. Each ending point will be degrees. I'm going to try touching on each topic so I hopefully learn a lot from it.

EDIT: forgot to answer your other question. Not in depth, just basically each chapter and sub chapters or w/e they're called.

- Colors
-blue
-things that are blue
-red
-things that are red
- Shapes

etc.

Only cause I have a book in front of me so here it goes:

American Government

- Foundations of American Government

- Forging the Constitution

Decleration of Independence
Bill of Rights
Amending the Constitution

- Federalism

Unitary System
Confederal System
Federal System
Powers of State and National Government

- Civil Rights/Civil Liberties

- Institutions of American Government

Congress
Presidency
Branches of Government

- Politics of American Democracy

Public Opinion, Political Socialization, the Media
Interest Groups and Political Parties
Campaigns and Elections

Tried to simplify from what my book has to keep it more general. Hope some of this helps in one way or another.
