I have had another iPod Touch break on me. This time, instead of the headphone jack (which broke on my 1g and my cousin's 2g), it's the charging port. That little black piece is now stuck in my charger and has rendered my iTouch useless. Rendered useless 2 days before my band trip which involves two 4 hour drives on a bus.
Sorry, just needed to get that off of my chest.

I agree that zune is where it's at. You could call me a traitor though for my iphone and three ipods! :p lmfao.
I've never had an issue with any apple products I've owned. In fact, I still have a 4g 1st gen nano that was even dropped in a glass of beer. I took it apart, cleaned it, and it still works just fine today. I gave it to a friend who was moving out of town so he could have some tunes for his trip. I have a touch that I let my old lady use so she can surf the web while taking care of the youngin' without having to turn the PC on and fiddle with the keyboard and mouse etc... and for myself I have a 120g 5th gen
Happy to report i've never had an issue with any of them. :D
perhaps I'm just lucky though.

stupid apple. ;) I'm with burntheland on this one though - I still use my white 3rd gen 40GB ipod. I haven't completely filled it up, and the thing refuses to break although the battery doesn't work anymore. But then, when I'm using it it's either hooked into my stereo at home or into my truck's dash (I really ought to post pics of that), so I never run it off the battery anyway. Bought the thing in...2002 I think. Almost 8 years old :D

I wish the ipod had the share feature that the zune has though. Sharing is where it's at ;)

haha... my only problem that i have had with apple products is their tendency to walk off with new owners that they seem to choose themselves.

Download Floola. It's drag and drop instead of syncing. :whistler:

I've only had problems with the accessories for Apple products. Between the magsafe breaking after a while, and the battery that dies completely if it runs out of charge . . . I've had no luck with their accessories, and even worse luck with 3rd party accessories.
