I want these chips!

Doritos has released a new line of HOT chips, 1st 2nd and 3rd degree. 3rd degree is their hottest chip and it's very difficult to find. Apparently no one sells it anywhere within a hundred miles of me. I've even looked online to see if anyone offers it, but to no avail.

If anyone sees it I will gladly pay for them plus shipping and a finders fee!

I miss Doritos :( ... Well flavored ones, they all contain MSG which unfortunately is a migraine trigger for me. I don't think I have had a Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch Dorito in almost 10 years. If these are as good as they sound, they might be worth the pain. LOL

You sir are a genius! I've been having migraine problems for the last two years (since I turned 14). I never even took a chance at thinking it could be MSG because I didn't know how many foods I like actually have MSG in them!

I'm going to have to try an experiment.

As for finding these chips, I go to school in the city, so I will look through the various convenience stores.

I got some bad news, straight from the Frito Lay rep. Turns out that the Third Degree is no longer in production. I can get my hands on First and Second Degree though, no problem.

More than likely, it was "too spicy" for the regular consumers who buy the majority of the product, so it was pulled.

For instance, in Canada, Taco Bell no longer has Fire Sauce. I found it to be tasty, but lots of people thought it was too hot. Wimps.

Oh, I completely agree with you. I'm just saying that the general population (ie the majority of people) are what dictates the market direction. Some of my favorite products of all time were discontinued due to lack of interest. Which is a damn shame.

Thai is nice, but I grow my own habaneros. :D

Canada doesn't have fire sauce at all?! I could understand limiting the number of cases but to get rid of it completely is insane. It's not like the stuff goes bad quickly so why not pick up a case and make it last. Even if only 2 people a day take some that's two happier customers for not really any extra money. I've heard of cutting corners but damn, how much could a case of hot sauce be? 20-30 bucks?

the chips were a bit stale by the time they arrived, but still delicious. I agree though, the 2nd degree ones are just as hot. I was expecting a bit more. Still tasty though and just the fact that someone took the time to mail them to me made them that much more delicious! I shouldve taken pictures but in my excitement I laced into the chips before I even thought about it.

Well, I was in Giant the other day, and guess what I found! :D

Now, I haven't tried the first or second degree chips (they had the first degree too but I decided not to bother), but these are by far the hottest chips I have ever eaten! I kind you not, when I opened the bag, the puff of air that came out made my eyes water....and don't inhale while chewing... :eek:
