Lowes is having a company wide sell on these kits this weekend. I just picked up a few sets for $5 each.

That is a great price for sure.

I despise Stanley with a passion, due to a business problem we had a few years back, but even I have to admit that their tools are overall very good. I love their Fat Max line, and wish I could bring myself to buy some.

I tend to stick with craftsman most of the time. But a screwdriver is a consumable IMO and it's always nice to have a chepie for those stripped out headed screws.

Is it a made in China or Made in UK set?

+1 to this.

Box says Made in the USA. But that means nothing. The steel wire they make the drivers from was most likely made in china and just cut, stamped and handled here.

The do not feel like a premium set but for $5 what can you expect. My Craftsman pro set ran me just over $100 3 years ago.

These will be just fine for case screws and such and if they strip out, big deal toss it and move on lol.

Nice looking set, especially for $5. The most valuable piece to me would probably be the tape measure; the rest may be made of too cheap of material to be worth it.

Edit: Any word on when the sale ends? I want to pick up a set but I'd rather wait for tomorrow.
