Mw2 Dlc Sucks!!!

Alright so I thought it'd be cool, 5 new maps and all. But no. you can only play the maps in random team games. You can't choose what game you want. And they got rid of 3rd person cage match in the lobby!!! That was my favorite game type. I'm guessing they got rid of it because people go in there to boost. I don't boost. to me thats just awful. But seriously? take away the option to choose what game type you want to play? seriously? too bad I can't return it lol. Hey at least I got it for $1.50 off. woohoo :whistler:

That sucks. Makes me glad I didn't get it. I was contemplating it only so I didn't get left behind when people I knew were playing those maps. It's a sucky feeling when you feel like you despise something, and feel like you are just going to get milked, but still seriously contemplate tossing money on it just so you aren't left out, lol.

I don't care for the game all that much, but it is nice sometimes to just jump in click a game mode and go. I just have a hard time getting into it because there isn't a sense of community like a game with servers can have.

I like how Bad Company 2 has both options, but I haven't gotten into that either because the screw ups for the first month making it so I couldn't play. Now when I play I feel just behind. Not too fun when someone is screaming at you to toss an ammo pack over and over again, even though you haven't unlocked it yet.

I'm glad I went the BC2 route. I've had it for just about a month now and I love it. It took me a few days to get the game down and rollin' but now I've almost unlocked everything which is kind of a bummer.

That is retarded. I've never played the 3rd person matches, so I didn't notice it.

I swear they've still got a loading/splash screen about it. I could have sworn it said something along the lines of "Cage Match allows you to go one on one against your friends while experiencing a new 3rd person tactical perspective". I never pay too much attention to those though, so maybe it was just talking about the 3rd team tactical.

yea it probably still says that lol. they've still got 3rd person team tactical, but its not the same. the cage match was fun because it was a little slower-paced, 1-vs-1. Like I said though, a LOT of people used it to boost (trade headshots, do challenges, etc). I always hated that. I'd start a match, then the othe guy would say "wanna boost?" or "headshots" or whatever. I'd always say no, then they'd leave the game. Taht part sucked. My guess is thats why they did away with it. Oh well. Maybe I'll just pick up BC2 lol
