Apparently there is a new iTunes update. I was going to just download it, but, it's like 100MB's.

Seriously? lol

Then they prompt you to also download Safari and Mobile Me. Auto-selected of course. That's not really a big deal, I'm just poking fun because it's kinda annoying. I mean, if I wanted those, I'd just download them, wouldn't I? Talk about being self-centered! geez. Lol

But damn, they go around dissing other companies like Adobe and then they do stuff like this. It's ridiculous. It's not even that hard to do this kind of thing right. Like for starters, instead of making us redownload the entire program, why not just update the one we already have? Then you can go ahead and shrink that sucker down. Something like iTunes should not be 100MB's.

Blah. Anyways. Just thought this was ridiculously retarded and wanted to poke some fun. lol

The reason I never install quicktime now is because it tries to force you to install iTunes every time you update. Or at least it did.

That iTunes alone is 100MB's. That takes me a minimum of around 45 minutes. Granted, I have ridiculously slow Internet at the moment, but even when I have regular speeds for this area ($35/month) it still takes 20 minutes.

In any case, it's just a small update. Why can't they just update what I already have? I doubt the update itself is more than a few megabytes. iTunes shouldn't be that big either for what it is.

It's just annoying and time consuming when you want to do something quickly.

The stupid quicktime update is 30MB. What the hell can possibly make it 30 friggin' MB's? I uninstalled Bonjour and have updates turned off, and yet it still asks for updates!!!!
