It's snowing here for the first time in years. Normally, it's just cold and wet in Scotland. So, me and my girlfriend went out and enjoyed the snow, built a snowman and a snowdog. What do you guys think? Worth modding :p

Figure an Athlon 64 should be pretty cool in there...could probably overclock nice and easy...just slap a few LCD fans in there for appearances, put a window in the side ;)
The first person to laugh at my hair finds out just what Mr Whacky is. Oh, and this is also me testing out my new camera, which will allow you guys to see what it is that i've actually been upto all this time. Appart from running my circuits through various simulation software...

I think Frosty is hitting on your girlfriend. He's leaning kinda close to her... Nice snowman although the ears make him look goofy:D.
lets get this thread started again:)
started by collecting all the snow in the garden and formed a hard tower, and then went mental with a kitchen knife xD

Ah dangit I wish I would of taken a picture of the snowman my apartment complex community made. It was a snowman GOD lol. I would say compared to myself it was at least fifteen feet high and about five feet wide. Then it rained a little and froze a bit so we all climbed it. it was awesome!
i built one, but the dog attacked it!

Dave's snowman, because of the blue above it, looks like a train conductor to me, idk, lol. Cute snowdog though.
And once again pOPe brings the pwnage! +rep to both!
Turned it yellow, did it?
would you belive it, no! its the first time the dog has seen snow, he loved throwing it in the air with his snout and trying to catch it in his mouth!

That is a pretty big snowman Dave! I guess I just figured being that far north you would have to have a lot of snow.

Wow...this is one hell of a necromance. Must have been a powerful mage that did it, with a long memory indeed to remember such a simple thread!

Normally, yes. However, despite Glasgow being the same latitude as Moscow, we get very little bad weather. One reason for this is the North Atlantic Current (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Atlantic_Current), which keeps temperatures here pretty stable between -5 and +5 Celcius during the winter. This doesn't stop it snowing in Scotland though. The thing about Glasgow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/City_of_Glasgow), and Glasgow in particular, is that the surrounding terrain of the Clyde Valley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clyde_Valley) protects us from violent storms. So, we don't get excessively high winds, snow storms, and other such violent weather very often. There are rare exceptions, such as the Snow storms that buffeted the country last week.
However, Glasgow City got maybe less than an inch of snow. Where I live on the outskirts, we were looking at 3 inches of snow. The rest of the country was struggling with snow measured in feet in a snow storm so large that yes, there's even a wikipedia article about it. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/February_2009_Great_Britain_and_Ireland_snowfall)
Hope you enjoyed your education, and to site noobs; if you're going to try necromancing a thread like this, make damn sure you have something good to do it with. Such as pictures of snow-zilla there. Good job matey. I concede defeat. :D
Although, he looks lonely...anyone else want to jump into this competition?

Of the opposite sex? I'm seeing a hermaphrodite snowman here. What's the opposite of a hermaphrodite snowman? Is there an opposite sex for a hermaphrodite? Is the other a completely sexless snowman?
I've discovered the limits of my curiosity, and hope I never see the other snowman. ;)

thats something my wife would do. I live in winterland, we have snow for about 5 months of the year, so i've made my fair share of snowwomen. My wife always turns them into men (or hemarphrodites)
In fact, whenever she can, she puts a penis on something. If we go to a restaruant, like pizza hut, where they give you crayons and paper....yup... you guessed it, she'll draw one.
playing with playdo? yup, first thing she makes, a penis.
she is definately unique:rolleyes:
