The Trigger Effect. To date the only movie I've paid for and gotten up and left the theater before it was done. Before it was half over, in fact.

I even suffered through Battlefield Earth, but this one was too much.

Dammit - I did that once.. Walked out of the place before the film was over - can't remember the film though - my subconscious must be trying to protect me from the memory lol

never saw it but for me the worst horror/movie was Camp fire stories.... started off with an animated skull and cross bones over a fire.... need i say more?

the only good quality it had was nudity :)

Which one?

As for worst, I think Far Cry is at least pretty high up there.

Happy Gilmore (one of the VERY few movies that I turned off midway through)
Syriana (I tried, I really did, I know it was supposed to be good, but I just couldn't follow it)
Spookies. an hour and a half I'll never get back, filled with sheer awfulness

Friday the 13th. (new version). I usually enjoy seeing dumb teens get horribly slaughtered in movies , but this was so bad I didn't even finish it...Actually, I didn't get past the first 15 minutes or so.

yeah that one probably was worse actually, I don't think I finished it. They was the worst I've seen in the theater... I wanted to leave but stuck through it because damnit if I am paying 9 bucks+ for a movie I am gonna finish it.

exactly, i don't understand people leaving movies halfway through..... you paid that much and your just going to leave? is your time that valuable? i guess if you have kids and such.

actually, yeah even if I paid for a movie, if it's that bad then why suffer through it when I could leave and do something more enjoyable?

another one I didn't like was No Country for Old Men. I know a lot of people who thought it was great, but I remember wondering when it was going to be over, and suddenly it was, and I thought, oooo k. that was a weird movie.

I didn't see Friday the 13th at the theater. Rented it from Redbox...Not as bad to waste $1 as it is to waste $9, so there was no monetary guilt in turning it off.

Redbox jumped to 1.25 per rental :(

Manos: The Hands of Fate

yeah, I've heard that that one is considered at least one of the worst, if not the worst, movie ever made. Thankfully I've never seen it.

I'll add Broken Arrow to this list. terrible.
