I have two pc's on my network all wired. I decided to change the name of my main pc (for some strange reason)
When i went on kitchen pc connected to the network i tried to open one of the shared files stored on my main pc and it said the network path was lost ? So i went back on my main pc and deleted the files and put them back into the shared folder and tried again on the kitchen pc, it still has the old paths to the deleted folders not the new ones? How do I get around it ? thanks

I know sometimes just doing a refresh will work or just a simple reboot has fixed it for me in the past.

Thanks ...What i mean is I have some music files on my main pc, I added them to the shared folders so that my 2nd2n pc can use them as well, but they are not showing on 2nd pc, its only showing old shared files which are no longer on my pc, if you click one of the old shared files it says network path invalid (cause they dont exist) But how can i refresh the network/shared files so my 2nd pc can see them ? ? It seems to be set in the past and has not realised ive added new shared files to my main pc ?
