I just found out that one of my friends and someone I really liked died Saturday. I was hoping she could come up this summer to go rafting with me. She was an awesome amazing person and I miss her already, even as the tears stream down my face as I type this, washing the pain, but not the memories, away.
This world is beautiful. This world is ugly. It's all just bittersweet in the end. Elation replaced by tragedy replaced by elation. We live one moment to the next because it's all we can do. This world is a beautiful, horrible place. I'd have it no other way. Together we celebrate. Together we mourn. The Important thing is, that we stay together. Love eachother and fill your lives with pure passion. Tomorrow may not come. Our lives are precious and important, don't waste it.

Truer words are seldom spoken, Zephik. Remember the good forget the bad, and live each day as though it were the last-for the next is not promised to us.
My deepest condolences on your loss.

couldn't have said it better.
Keep your chin up.
Wow. I feel like I should say something profound here, but I got nothing. I can't even begin to imagine what you're going through right now. My condolences.

It is indeed all of those things. I lost my best friend unexpectedly, and it does indeed focus our viewpoint on the immediate and shine a light where we sometimes don't like to look.
As others have mentioned, my condolences on your loss as well.

Times like this are hard on ones mind and soul, If you need to talk just message me. My prayers will be with her family and you!
I ask if she recently graduated because a local girl passed away in a rollerblading accident Saturday on her colleges campus.

No, nothing like that. She died from a blood clott. I was told it was completely painless and that she didn't suffer at all. It's possible that it happened while she slept.
Memory: She wanted to be married on the day, month and year that corresponded with the mathematical term "Pi". I told her that if she hadn't found someone by then, that I'd marry her. She agreed.
She didn't eat very healthily and she didn't get much excercise, but she was only slightly chubby. I mention this only because I'm curious, could this been the cause or part of the cause of the blood clott?

My condolences on your loss. Try to take comfort in the fact she went painlessly.
In answer to your question, there are different things that can cause a blood clot. Certain medicines can sometimes cause clots, and some people are genetically predisposed to clotting.
