I was thinking overhead transparencies but can anyone think of anything thinner? As in... as thin as the screen protectors many phones, calculators, and other electronics come with? They are super thin and apparently you can print on them.

ideas? links?

I know that you can use printable transparencies, but what are you trying to accomplish?

Printable decal paper will be thinner, but may not work for what you are trying to do. I've used the stuff before though and it is awesome. I've also used overhead transparencies. Both are nice, but the decals are thinner than rice paper.

It has to be clear and I can't tell yet :)

EDIT: I found some static cling sheets that they use to make window decals and such. They're fairly expensive though at over a dollar per sheet.

The stuff I was talking about it pretty much a one time usage thing. It's an extremely thin plastic that usually comes with a fake screen display printed on it. I remember phones(house phones and some cellphones) and from what I've seen, most calculators having them.
