Ok, so I'm 95% ready to go buy a scroll saw. I'm looking at the Ryobi SC164VS. (http://www.ryobitools.com/index.php/catalog/tool/sc164vs) I was just wondering if anyone had this saw or has used it, and if you did what you thought of it. Ryobi hasn't let me down yet, but its good to hear a review about it before dropping $100.

I'm sure by now you've bought the scroll saw, if so do you like it? I have always found Ryobi to be very reliable.

I have that exact same saw, and I like it. Got it jsut before Christmas, and have used it for a lot of projects and only broke one blade so far. It's a good bargain saw.

Yeah I got one. Not ryobi though. I went with a Craftsman 18 inch. The extra size lets me cut all the way across a piece of plexi without turning it or stopping.

Ahh yes, the ever-faithful craftsman. Good choice! Made in the USA! (at least it used to be, don't know anymore)
