As many know, 32 bit operating systems are limited to an average of 3.5gigs of RAM, despite having 4gigs installed. Until now. With this quick tweak, you can unlock the remaining 500MBs of RAM giving your system the performance boost you paid for. Users have found surpassing 6GBs can actually slow down your system.
1) Windows + R > CMD
2) Type BCDEdit /set PAE forceenable and press ENTER.
Works for some, not for others. Make sure you run CMD in admin-mode.
*If the tweak has no affect on extending your usable memory, it can be reverted by entering BCDEdit /set PAE forcedisable into command prompt.
