You can get some pretty sweet abstract stuff with chaoscope (http://www.chaoscope.org/). It's been a while since I used it, but I remember being able to create some pretty awesome stuff once I got the hang of it.

i agree with 4chan's wg section i find almost all of my wallpapers there, although yeah, lots of questionable content definately nsfw, which im sure anyone who has been there is aware of.
