im lookin for a 320-500Gb IDE drive... on the cheap...
anybody have any offers?

just throw em out there.. i know u guys have a few kicking around somewhere :)

Sorry, I don't have any IDE that big. OOC, why IDE? If it's a controller limitation you could always get something like this (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11163) (or a controller card...that might be cheaper in the long run).

got a rocketfish IDE external HDD enclosure today for $15... so i wanna throw something big in there...
right now i only have 100Gbs... that wont cut it for games and such :)

I have a 250gb but I think its bricked after trying to use my HP to lock it. need to buy a new MBB that isnt locked down by OEM restrictions.

You might be able to fit a SATA HDD with the adapter that x88x mentioned in that case from what I can see.

I have a 750gb in IDE, as well as a 500gb in another machine.

They DO exist.. :)

right now i only have 100Gbs... that wont cut it for games and such :)

Why not mod it to be an external optical drive instead?

lolz and i want em! heh and no crenn.. no chance in hell LOL there was barely enough room to fold the 2 inch long IDE cable... i coulda gotten a sata case for the same price...
but i got IDE so i could use a drive i have.. and upgrade later...
im not looking for something new heh... if i was gunna use sata i would put it right into the 360 :P
dont need more than IDE anyways... not like USB will catch up to full sata lol

just wanna find something uber cheap.. old hardware is welcome... aslong as it has been treated right :)

of course i have... thing is just about nothing has it yet....
and.... 360s dont have it so it doesnt work out anyways :P
