Okay, I'm rather confused here. I'm trying to upload images... but I have a shotty connection. So, I made the images smaller. On my computer, they now read as in the KB's, not MB's. Yet, when I upload them, imageshack and photobucket is listing them as over a MB each.

???

I'm so confused. lol

Edit: Every picture is under 100KB. Like 75KB on average.

They're not reading in Mb's, are they? Only other thing I can think of is maybe they do some encoding or whatever and make them bigger.

They're reading MB.

I just opened one of the images up, took a screen shot, pasted in Paint, edited so that only the picture remained, saved it and then looked at the size of the file. It's 1.1MB. Yet... the image I took a screen shot of is like 75KB.

Why can't computers just make sense? lol

Edit: Okay, so Imageshack list's PNG as a supported format... I saved one of the images as PNG, looked for it to upload, and its not there. This... is ridiculous.

IDK, I've never used imageshack. I randomly picked photobucket (I think it was the first link on the page or something), and haven't had any problems with them.

I'm pretty sure its an issue with computers being mentally retarded. Pretty sure, anyways.

I just uploaded 2/3rd's of the images to my Myspace, BTW. Yeah... that makes sense. I guess maybe Imageshack either has a timeout limit or file size limit or both. or something.

Technology drives me crazy sometimes. lol
