Seems like unlike most other groups (or whatever) of people interested in computers, hackers, programmers etc, modders are able to get a family and have kids.
Sorry if I offended any programmers or hackers with this post ^^

I think you need to leave the hackers out other than that I think you may be spot on with the programmer bit. Every programmer I have ever met has had a god complex or some variation there of. The only reason I say this is technically modding is a physical form of hacking.

I'm more thinking of the kind of hacker that sits in a dimly lit cellar 24/7 not caring about anything other then breaking into international companies. And I just remembered that I'm using the wrong word. Crackers was what I meant.
