ya, that's why I try to avoid posting seagate hdd deals lately but this was so cheap I couldn't resist.

Western Digital is the only way to go for high reliability.

yep. I just got a western digital 500GB scorpio blue 2.5" drive for $70 on newegg. :D Maxtor is good too, at least they used to be (been about 4 or 5 years since I bought one of theirs, so I can't really vouch for them now).

My western digital 160gb went out.

my Seagate 500GB crapped out. The board is junk, but the data is good. Just need to figure out how to get my stuff off the drive now lol. My WD400GB is still going strong (using it as a backup drive now), although my 1.5TB Seagate 5400RPM drive is working flawlessly so far.
