I have an opening on staff for a Journalist. This is a very specific Journalist position and it will involve some weekly work. This Journalist will be responsible for writing about current mods on the forum and other forum / member related things. I am asking for 1 article a week. You will also be responsible for light proof reading duties. (something all Journalist have to do)
You will only have to write a few paragraphs about a mod as a whole, or you can write about a certain feature or cool thing within a mod. If we have a member featured in national media, wins a big contest / LAN or even just someone you would like to highlight for their uniqueness you can write an article. You can create your own artwork for the article or you can have one of our artist or myself create it for you.
Requirements:
1 short article per week on mods found in our forums.
Dedication to the Job (wont burn out in a month)
Need 1 sample article PMed to me.
Knowledge of BBcode formatting (what we all use in forum post)
If you think you are up for the job send me a PM and pick a current mod somewhere in the forums and write a short (>1000 words) article on it and PM it to me.
Please also know that before I "hire" anyone that person will have to be approved by an Admin and 2 moderators.
Also note that this position is not a paying position. You may have the opportunity to participate in our review program after you have been on staff for a period of time. This is conditional and based on your performance and the ability to complete your assigned task.
