Paper Ribbon Wire Repair?

Okay, so I JUST bought a new Digitizer for my iPod Touch. Too bad that there was a piece of plastic preventing the device from being reassembled properly, so I had to take it apart. As I did so, I gently tugged on the ribbon wire and voila, ripped easier than most paper does.

I hate to say that I can't afford another $15, but... I can't afford another $15. lol

So is there any way to repair this?

Never mind. There is no way you can repair this kind of wire. Ridiculous. Maybe a 3rd time will be the charm. Psh. Doubt it.
