I'm thinking about signing up again, just wondering if anyone has any promotion codes to save me a few bucks! :D

I'm thinking about going for the professional subscription..
without media. I can download whatever I need since that's included, I just really need the enterprise stuff.

Link so those not in the know can check it out. :D

Luke, do you still need a promo code? I am checking one of our vendors to see if they have any of the $99 ones left...

I'd like one too, if possible.

I am checking now. It is a Student discount only good for one year and NO EDU proof necessary...

Thanks Terry

Also, wanna fold for the TBCS team with those super computers you have?

I spent hours scouring the net for a promo code which would work for Technet UK but ended up paying the full sub - still, I reckon it's worth it so I'm not too grumpy about it

Thanks Terry

I have promised folding bandwidth to another team right now. I didn't know TBCS had a team.

I am working right now to create a folding burn in tool for all of our production systems. Since I am getting help with this from the other team I will have to dedicate most of the bandwidth of the burn in systems to them for at least a short time.

On my next big rack, I will make sure it folds for TBCS...

Sweet news, and yes, I am putting the team together right now. My system is capable of 48k PPD.

Cool. I wished I could have folded with that monster rack I had here a few months ago... The calculations were something like 4 million ppd's... Now I will never know unless the customer actually purchases 8 more like they told us...

4,000,000 Ppd? Omg!

I can not confirm this since we never got a single ppd out of it in the limited time I had to test with it.

...but it had 72 quad core xeons (with HT), 768gb memory and 4 Tesla boards... Connected with Infiniband and 2x GigE to each node...

Mine is a simple 6core with HT and 2 9800gtx+s

If that discount worked for AU as well, I'd be interested. I am actually a student!

I just bought my subscription and have been archiving the .iso's on my server.

I wanted WHS, and needed to get new win7 keys as I had used up all my ACM MSDNAA one time keys. Could have gotten then $15 a copy through my college, but then I remembered technet. ~$100 for WHS + $15 for each key through retail and school, or $199 for technet.

Went technet. Something like 40+ Win7 retail keys, each with 10x internet activation, and lifetime phone activation . . . yup, went technet.

Now that I've got WHS up and running I realized I'd rather have had Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V running WHS. Ehh, just wait till Vail RTM's then swap it over.
