Well I've finally (almost) got the hang of doing subs on the jet ski. I've done 4 successful ones, countless unsuccessful ones (including 2 where I nose stabbed the bottom of the lake and went over the handlebars ). It's a lot harder than it looks. You have to use the first bounce to prep yourself for the second, then upon takeoff from the second bounce you pull your knees (and the tray) to your chest and push the handle pole down, and pin the throttle and hope for the best! It's tough to get the proper angle of attack. Most of the time I end up coming in too shallow and the ski skips off the water instead of going into it
This vid my friend took this afternoon, and I just finished editing it. Enjoy :D

Nice one!! I have a older 440 that's been punched out. I couldn't never get mine to bury the nose. My impeller is also setup for higher speed and less torque. My buddy could get it under water, but then it just didn't have the umph to shoot it back up, it would just float back up to the surface.. :) He had a Kawasaki 650, that was a regular uboat. He tried to explain to me that when you hit your "bounce" you need to raise up one knee and then plant your other foot on the back of the cowl, and then drive the handle bars forward. I just never could get the timing right. Although on his I could do a "fakey" sub pretty easily.
Cool video!

this is a 2005 SXR 800. 781cc stock, currently has been bored almost 2mm over, has wiseco kawi race pistons for a true 800cc, I cut 4" off the hull and 1.5" off the handlepole, has straight bars that move you forward another 1.5" or so, has a SkatTrak impeller pitched for all bottom end, R&D flame arrestors, exhaust power sleeve, dual cooling, and a bunch of other little goodies :D
I learned to ride on a 79 440 that could hardly get out of its own way lol
I can do other tricks too - 360's sitting on the hood, ride standing up backwards on the nose, fountains, etc :D

It is in here. Click the "Armor Redux" link in my sig, that's the mod where I made the code for it.
This is the RGB controller I used for it:
http://pcboard.ca/kits/led_rainbow/
and you can use any 5mm RGB LED (with resistors, the controller puts out 12v) or even one of these RGB waterproof clusters from him, or a single LED of whatever color you want.
waterproof 3-led kits in red, green, blue, white or yellow

waterproof 4-led kits in red, green, blue, white and yellow

9-led RGB waterproof module
http://www.pcboard.ca/shop/home.php?cat=59
or some single or RGB piranha LEDs and make your own setup

If you end up getting it let me know I can send you the coding for the heartbeat, or you can mail me your IC chip and I'll program it and mail it back to ya :)
