I just saw one of those commercials for people with bad credit to get a computer. The bundle (http://www.tronixcountry.com/p-39-premium-desktop-tv-offer.aspx) supposedly comes with a PC, printer, Camera, MP3 player and a TV for a stupid amount of money (like $2000).
I was looking at the old low spec computer and laughing my butt off when I found this (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/computers/tronix_country.html). It's all the complaints to consumer affairs!

That's unfortunate. Ripping people off is bad enough but ripping people off that are in the hole is just disgusting.

thats just... aweful.. you could get everything on that list for less than 1200... also... side note, bottom of page. "netbook (mini laptop)" = epic fail.. while formfactor wise its a yes... really its a no... how do these companies still exist?

As harsh as it may sound, the people that were scammed are just as responsible as the scammer. Most of those complaints look like they were written by a first-grade student. These companies will always exist as long their market (primarily uneducated idiots who want to live well above their means) exist... If people valued both an education and having thoughts more than whatever the 'American Dream' has become, things like this wouldn't happen.

They weren't scammed, they failed to abide by the agreement terms. With that said, they should have never signed up for this 'service'.
I'm not trying to defend the company in question, just stating that if you ain't got your **** together you're gonna get burned.

I couldn't have said that better myself.
