Just threw my CC at MS and got me an entry level Technet sub.... and a nice surprise. Office 2010 is on there even though it isn't in the xls file you can download from MS....
Got me a BUSY weekend coming up methinks....

Technet is great! I have been a member for several years now. It amazes me how much software you can download and use... From DOS to Server2008!

Hehe win 3.1.1... The FIRST stable windows. If you can call that OS stable.
Evaluate. Permanently. on 10 different systems (in most cases). But do adhere to the EULA since no-one wants M$ lawyers knocking on their door.

Check out the training videos they have for server 2008.
As much as I like to bash M$, I have to commend them for Technet and all the training stuff they put out.
It's pretty funny that I have a personal Technet account and an MSDN account for work. SO far the main difference is just the physical CD's (there are other differences, but we have yet to use them).
BTW: I found out that even if you do not have the media option on your account, there is a way to order a CD case with inserts for free. I will post the link if I have time today...

I've been looking at those, along with the MCITP Certificaiton for Server Admin. But in order to go this way, I'll have to build an even more powerful system to handle VMs (need at least 7 VMs for the labs and the Server 08 box).
Actually, now that I do the math...I may be able to pull the VM stuff off with the Tri Core if I jump to 8 gigs of RAM. Off to Newegg I go!
