Contest: Design my Flyers!! - The Winner is...

I'm launching my PC repair business soon and I NEED flyers!

I want you to design them for me. They need to get to the point because who likes reading a long winded flyer? They also need to bad mouth Apple. I don't fix Macs or anything close to them and this flyer needs to say that.

Be BLUNT

Don't curse, but make it obvious, like: "Apples don't need fixin".

I go to their home/business. I'll add prices if I choose to later. You can say that I give discounts on more than computer per visit. I do software repairs. Mostly Virus and Malware removal, but also tweaking/optimizing of new and old systems. I also do detailed PC cleaning. My company name is PCModHouse.

I'm picking my two favorite ones, because variety is the spice of life.8)

They need to be made to fit a normal piece of copy paper and color is good! Email me your entry with your forum name in the title and message, like: "username - this is my entry" One entry per person only. Must be a member of TBCS for a minimum of 60 days at time of contest end. Staff are allowed to participate since this is my contest not TBCS. I prefer your entry in word or some kind of Microsoft Office application, since I have the full suite. If you cannot, save your entry as an .jpg that fits to a normal piece of paper.

Not much difference--it's all hardware, except the apple **** costs a whole helluva lot more since there's no third party involved.

OS wise, just think BSD and you're golden.

I have a question though, when you say a standard copy paper, would that be an A4 sheet? Also, do you have a website and/or an e-mail you'd want on the flyer?

in the US standard copy paper size is 8.5inches x 11 inches, a4 is usually more to print on... (i worked in an office max printshop)

Photoshop did have a U.S. Paper preset which I used but I weren't sure if it was the correct one. Thanks for clearing that up :)

I felt like I kept overdoing it and making them too flashy so I settled it down quite a bit. If you like it, let me know of any changes and maybe we can figure out a business card design?

If you're genuinely happy with the business card design, I'd strongly suggest basing both your flyers and your website around that design. Continuity is rarely a bad thing in a business image.

I agree, but think they look futuristically (sp?) cool, and maybe not what I want someone to think of on a flyer. Plus, I will pick a winner and make slight modifications to the design before I print it.
