Rated 9/10 in Maximum PC. At first I thought it was hideous but now I kinda want one.

I've been debating spending my money on one of these, but they really are expensive. I want one so bad though. I love the idea of adjustable sizes.

I love the adjustable sizes, love the styling, and love the on-the-fly dpi adjustment for going from running with a pistol to sniping, it makes sense. There's no way I can justify $130 for it though. that and the wife got me a nice MS wireless 3000dpi laser mouse this past christmas :D

Here's another one with adjustable on the fly DPI.

Is it only me that's wondering when it's gonna turn into a robot and go on a mission to rescue the world?

my girlfriend got the rat 7 for me for my birthday (had to pre-order it). so far i have absolutely loved it. the only complaint i have is the precision aim button is a little far for my tiny hands, but its really not a big deal. and as goofy as the thing looks, its actually very comfortable. i went with the pinky wing attachment and the rubber grip palmrest. :)

well if its a good mouse, you won't need to buy another one for a very long time.

i used to burn through optic mice every 2 years, my last laser mouse was about 3 years..

in the market for a new mouse these days....... maybe the rat is up my alley.

I thought I'd use the adjustable DPI on my G5 mouse for gunning/sniping but I never do. I just really like the styling of it.

I have a logitech G9, and it is really great. I love the scroll wheel. It can adjust to either be clicky, or to roll freely, which is totally awesome. Does anyone know if the cyber rat does this too? That would be a tipping point for me.

yes but it's annoying to have to lift the mouse to do that. especially if you have used the mx revolution. i own both and it's so stupid they didn't make it the same as the mx.

Agreed, although I've got the one-handed lift and press button with thumb move down. I also find that I'm either in free-wheel for almost everything, and then switch to clicky for gaming only, so it's not as annoying as if the right click button were somewhere stupid. It makes it hard to accidentally press it.

ya, i guess since you got used to it that way your fine. i had the MX first and love being able to have it on click while you slowly scroll down a page then just being able to flick it fast and have it automatically change to free spin.
