I've used this POS maybe 3 or 4 times and it suddenly starts acting up. When I try to print it simply adds it to pending and doesn't respond. It's not jammed and it's not out of ink.
When I cancel the job it simply cycles a piece of paper.
It's about to get a box of .12ga rounds in it! This is why you don't buy walmart specials.

This IS the future after all, please provide a video instead ^^
Seriously though, shutdown your computer, pull the power plug on the printer and reconnect it. Then power it on again. Worked for me when I had your problem.

As much as I would like to see that, most walmart stores should take it back with no questions asked...with or without a receipt...and regardless of how long you've been using it.
Now, you just have to decide how much that type of frustration venting is worth to you, possibly in addition to a really cool video.:D If it's worth more than the price of the printer, then I'll be looking for the video to be posted here in the near future.

It's an HP Deskjet 2660.

It's not even worth the shotgun rounds then.
However, a well-placed kick can actually make that printer split down the middle. It's really cool.

Well it's about a year "old" but it's only been used a couple of times. I actually just took off the protective blue stuff off a week ago. :dead:

I can't believe nobody's said "errpcloadletter" yet LOL...yeah I remember back when HP printers were built like tanks - my mom had a laserjet that she used all the time and it lasted more than 10 years. Nowadays so many of those little cheapie printers are absolute garbage. Anyone reading this and looking for a laser printer, I've got a Samsung 2850 (I think) that I love, and I've run off nearly 40,000 pages on it and it's doing just fine. Don't know what models they're making nowadays but I like 'em!
