I don't watch iCarly, even though she is really cute (and Legal and I do like her song Kissin U), but my daughter was watching it and I saw that they were using computers with a Pear (http://icarly.wikia.com/wiki/Pear_Company) logo!

LOL! You would think apple would pay them to use their logo. It may help drive kids to want apple products. I wonder why they chose to avoid it?

Because Apple would charge them 2 arms, 2 legs, some toes, a few noses, some children, and probably a couple of dirty appendages for the Apple Logo. It's not in the shows best interest to use the license or the logo. Just my thought.

Generally it works the other way around. 'Product Placement' is when a company pays or otherwise helps fund a TV show or movie in exchange for their product getting some screen time.

CrApple doesn't work that way. I seem to recall they threatened legal action over their logo appearing before. Don't remember what show/movie and to lazy to look.

If half the dumb*ss TV shows nowadays put my logo on the screen I would consider that libel/slander, copyright/trademark infringement or otherwise portraying my company in a bad light. I would hate to build a multi-billion dollar company and then have it constantly associated with sparkly vampires, werewolves or child-wizards.:whistler:
