I may have accidentally got myself a job!

After I posted this picture (http://www.thebestcasescenario.com/forum/showthread.php?p=298416#post298416) on my buddys (the one in the picture) brother's facebook, it quickly spread around his work. They both work at the same bar/club down by the beach. Turns out the managers there loved the picture and now want me to apply there!

I'm banned over there until 8-16 (tradition to post naked chicks when you hit certain post counts, i picked up two months for my 15,000 post) so i can't really link any of them atm : \

Ok not really but its got hilarious content and its got some high quality members that have been around as long as the video game has, Plus its one of the only games i've ever come across you can directly openly talk to the developers and ask them Q's or give opinions on the new content or systems on the forums.

usually don't get two months worth of a ban, but i filled up three pages worth of pictures, then went back and edit posted a c#@p load of.... pictures?

Ya, I'm excited. My buddy is going to talk to a manager to see about what position I should apply for and what's open tomorrow so I'll be down there at opening on Thursday (they're closed mon-wed).

It seems like an awesome place to work... they all get together for parties and they have a MMA gym they go to together and all that. I'm not usually one to hang out with coworkers outside of work but with them they seem super down to earth, especially if they want me to apply just because I made a funny picture! It almost seems they care more about personality than your resume. Hopefully that stays true because my resume is only a one pager and not very impressive. :/

Started today working in the kitchen doing dishes and preparing burgers and stuff. They wanted to get me in the door and I'll most likely be switched to security when a spot opens!

I just caught wind that they may be pulling me in as their tech as well. They have my buddy as their designated tech atm but to be blunt, he sucks with computers. They may bring the both of us in next week... I don't want to out shine him too bad but if we can both work at the same time or I was 2nd on the list when he couldn't work I'd be more than happy.

Quick update:

I love this job. Not so much my current position but the people and management. The most laid back friendly atmosphere I've ever been in. The Chargers come in after every game for their after-party which is pretty awesome. Free food, red bull, a beer every now and then, etc... awesome.

So we have a staff outing this Wednesday. -.-

Apparently there's a party bus that will pick us up at 9pm and drop us off at x o'clock am. My problem is it's at another club... and I don't do clubs. I don't dance and I don't mingle with women since I'm in a relationship. Looks like I'll be at the bar all night drunk off my ass but somehow have to regulate it so I can actually walk to the bus.

Not looking forward to this.

just over a month on the job and I'm looking at a raise and got pulled in to work security after my regular shift ended. $50 bucks for 2 hours of security? AWESOME!

Security all this week. $50 for 2.5-3 hours this time but it's an extra $200 a week on top of my normal check!! Things are looking GOOD.
