No this isnt an ad for penis enlargement ;P

This is my first Case mod, and i got a lot of inspiration from all of the different ideas on here.

I bought the Xion Solaris Green and Black case, this one

http://images10.newegg.com/NeweggImage/productimage/11-208-009-16.jpg

I like the case and all but... its just not enough green for me :)

My list of plans for the case:

-Paint the Two silver vertical bars on front, green.
-Paint Interior of case green
-Cut off The cheesy X Design on the window
-Create and install an 80mm Blow hole Exhaust fan ontop of the case
-Install 2 green Cold Cathode Lights on the top and bottom of the inside of the case where you cant see them.
-Take one of the green LED's from my old case exhaust fan and install it under the case (hopfully creating an underglow look)
-Sleeve all PSU cords in UV reactive Green sleeving

and i think thats it... pretty standard stuff :)

In anticipation while i waited for the case to arrive i gave my Saitek Eclipse II a nice green paintjob to match the case

Once the case arrived (tonight actually) i completly disassembled it and taped off some areas etc

Primed and ready for the green.

Alright, here is the front panel after applying the green, still gotta do a couple coats of clear on it then i will be ready to have the tape taken off, aside from a couple imperfections (garage floor not exactly the cleanest place to paint...) its turning out pretty good :) i may have to redo it down the road when i have more time

And here is the chassis so far, i ran out of green paint so i gotta wait till tomorrow to get some more  but so far im very happy with the results :)

Front panel painting is done, the damn painters tape lifted up a little bit during the painting so there is a tiny little hint of green mist right above the USB panel at the bottom... but i should be able to buff it out.

time for bed now, ill run to the hardware store and grab me another can of green paint and finish the chassis paint tomorrow, then i can start on the top exhaust port and cutting that ugly X design off the side panel.

when your trying to make really fine lines, dont use painters tape, use this stuff called frog tape. its worth the little bit of extra $$ by a long shot

My Green Cathodes and Touch screen Fan controller should be arriving today, i cant post pictures of my progress just yet, but i got the case mostly painted i just need to touch up and polish some areas, then i got the X cut out with my trusty dremel, and then i cut off all parts of the X so theres only the Round Center peice left, which i will use to make my blow hole look a little more proffesional, and i took the screen that was below the X covering the window intake fan, and painted it green, and i will be using that on the blow hole instead of the window intake fan.

im sure that was a little confusing but i will post pictures of my progress as soon as i get back home.

Also i do not have a 3 inch circle saw availiable for use to cut the blow hole, and im currently to broke to afford one... so what im going to do is put my circle peice that will be around the blow hole, and trace the inner circle with a pencil, then get a drill, and drill holes around the circle being sure to stay within the circle, then i will just get my dremel and grind through the spaces between the holes, after i get that main hole cut open i will just get a sanding bit for the dremel and smooth out the rough edges left over from the drill holes, and then polish it with some 320 sand paper by hand. and it should work fine, and its okay if its not perfect because the round peice i cut out from my panels X should cover up any imperfections there might be :)

Again i apologize for no pictures but i will get them up ASAP
