Can you tell your phone to make a call and it does? I have the Motorola Crush and for the most part I like it, except for how dumb it seems at times. Today I told it to "call home". It came back with "did you say Poll-iss" (It meant Police.
Where is the similarity there? How does it not know how to pronounce Police or what Home means??
Makes me want an Evo

My phone (HTC G1) is 100% accurate with voice recognition. I can say the name then home, cell, work, yada yada and it calls. I never use it but I have played with it.

I've been searching online and apparently it's my own stupid mistake. The phone actually has a training program built into it. I played with it for about 10 minutes and it seems to understand me better. I haven't tried it all, but it's still a lot better

I have the EVO (love it) and while I don't use voice dialing too much, I do use the Talk-to-Me translator program, and as long as the background noise isn't too bad, it does a pretty decent job.

My HTC Diamond has pretty good recognition. I can do one touch voice dialing. Click a button on the headset, then just say the numbers.
"Dial 5 5 5 1 2 3 4" It will read back to you, 'did you say 555 1234?'
then you just say "Yes" and it dials.
