I must say I had my doubts while windows 7 was installing as I had some issues however now that I am up and running I am just amazed. Some things that lagged with the same hardware minus the hard drive is now whipping through with no issues. I know from some trial and error I was going to be a bit faster than my vista ultimate install but this windows 7 takes the cake. Almost enough to renew my faith in ms..... almost. Anyway the main reason I got on was to post about my new hdd its a 1tb samsung spinpoint and I am seriously impressed. It is quieter than my cpu fan and has now made my cpu fan the loudest thing in my case. This is the first time I have strayed from seagate in quite sometime and I hope not to be disappointed. Over all I spent about 90 dollars on a liteon dvd and the samsung hdd and then half an hour to install win 7 and its like having an all new computer.

Dude you have no idea i said i was going to bed like an hour and a half ago and I am still up trying to get this thing to chug out and it won't.. its also funny that this system that had like a high windows score of like 3 on vista now has the lowest score at 4.9

Used to under vista I couldn't watch a movie and play a game at the same time because my memory would be all ate up and it both frame rates would drop tremendously, now I have no issues and alot of installs finish before the progress bar has a chance to move. I have an amd 2.4 am2 brisbane dual core 4200+ asus m2a-vm mobo 2 gigs of pc2 6400 g skill
