I am so torn, Jeff Bridges as Marshal Cogburn

So I knew it was only a matter of time before westerns were attacked by hollywood and remade but so far most western remakes have atleast been enjoyable but now they are taking something from my childhood. Jeff Bridges (http://www.firstshowing.net/2010/08/18/first-look-clean-photo-of-jeff-bridges-in-the-coens-true-grit/) otherwise known as "The Dude" or for most of us Kevin Flynn from TRON. John Wayne is the f**king man, but can The Dude become The Man?
