I *knew* I knew that voice

I work at a transportation company, and all of our trucks have satellite communications direct with us at the terminal. When we send these guys a message the keyboard in their truck speaks, saying "A new message has arrived."

I've heard that dozens of times over the years when I would send these guys information while I had them on the phone, and I knew I knew that voice. I finally placed it.

I would SWEAR it's the same female voice heard in Half-Life 2 (and maybe Half-Life) when you get hurt a lot or injected with poison from those damned crawly spider-things. Anyone know who that was?
