Where to put temp. sensors?

I bought a new case and Ultra Fan controller, and of course I didnt get the manual that came with the controller(bought it new w/o box) I noticed the sensors are labeled but where exactly should I put them? I have one for the HD one for the CPU and one for the Sys. Ive tried looking this info up but cant find anything anywhere.
