View Full Version : DDR2 800 Needed

I've been getting a C1 post error on my EVGA 680 board so I picked up the exact mobo here on the forums from Farlo.

Same error! :banghead: It's gotta be the RAM. Mushkin RAM isn't exactly known for it's lifespan... I've already had to RMA it twice and now I've misplaced one stick after it was removed a year or so ago because it died on me.

If anyone has any PC2 6400 on the cheap, please let me know.

How's FREE sound?

I have several OCZ Fatality 2GB dimms, but I don't know if they work! I can send them and you can find out. I still have your address too.

yeah more than likely gotta be the ram, cause the board was working when i pulled it a few weeks ago.

I did some digging. I have 5 sticks of (2GB = 10GB!!) Fatality DDR2-800. 8GB of it were in my R2-M5, but I was getting errors too. I replaced all of the RAM, but it might just be a single bad stick in there.

Gonna leach into this thread, i need some extra ram too, same, and didnt wanna make another thread. Im starting to have to use virtual machines and would like to get up to 6gb so xp and 7 run better under the VM.

The only thing I have left is [(2x 1GB) and (2x 512MB)] sticks of DDR2-800.
