Need help with 90mm fan hole

I want to replace a 90mm fan with a 80mm fan grill on the outside of my side panel. The problem i'm having is the side of my case is plexi. and the holes are prefabbed for a 90mm fan. I would rather have a 80mm fan grill due to the different design options i would have. Any ideas anyone may have on doing this task would be greatly appreciated.:? :?

Is it 90mm or 92mm?
I found this 80mm to 92mm adapter (http://www.directron.com/ca8092.html) would that work?
note: I just googled "80mm to 92mm adapter" I'm not familiar with that supplier.

The fan that is mounted right now is a 90mm fan. I also found a couple of adapters at Frozen CPU.com. I'm just not sure if the holes for the 92mm adapter will line up with the pre-fab holes that are already in the plexi.

Can you post some pictures of your current fan and the holes, it might help with idea generation.
