Project Vulcan

This will be my main Gaming rig that travels to about 10-12 lan parties a year. It a micro atx case theme Black and Orange,

Some of my concerns was the dual 120 radiator. it doesnt fit any where in the case. not yet any ways (dremal time). Air flow was another concern. But i finally came up with a pretty simple solution, mount the raditor on the botton and have air blowing in from the top and through teh bottom. The Mb has been staying at a pretty constant 30c on the test bench for about a month. I will aslo be adding soem arylic ilumminated panels and case feet.

I am pushed on time on this one and have about 10 days to complete before I take it to a Lan party on the 11th . So get ready for metal & plastic to fly !!!!

That's a neat case...I like it. :D Too bad they didn't make it a couple inches taller though, or you could have put the radiator in the top. You might want to consider switching the direction of the airflow so it works with the natural flow of heat instead of against it. Overall looks like a good start though, should be good. :D

I really wanted the rad at the top. I thought i could do it, I tried to scethc it out, There no room for the MB or the dvd roms or rez by adding it there but it would look like a case with rad on top. lol It really is a small case.

Maybe take the front panel of chassis off and invert it? Just my 2 cents again.

aidanscomputers

I wanted to have it in the front, it blocks the dvd rom bays(lol) and you couldn't add fans unless make a new bezel or cut out teh bottom dvd bay rmoving the hard drive bay. this case is relly small
