My new system build

I figure that hey Ive been running my system for long enough now that it's time to upgrade. Case included! I have all of the part list's ready all I need to do now is get them all together. Sorry for the bad quality so called "HD" webcam pics as I couldn't find my camera.

Let's start off with my current system in the HAF932

you're splurging for a board like that and only putting an i3 in it? :? I'd go with an i5 at the LEAST, if not an i7 with that kinda board. I think my Q6600 has more sack than that i3 does lol

Especially since you're going with some high-end RAM, it only makes sense to go with a better CPU

But if you are going to stick with the i3, then you can downgrade the RAM and mobo, and ditch the WC altogether and save a bundle :up:

Oh dont worry, i plan on getting a higher end cpu, my dad gave me a certain budget for the system parts and an i5 didnt fit so i will be upgrading problably around Christmas

Hmmm, you need to do something about the PSU fan, it's throwing off the color scheme... Other than that it looks great though! :D Well, as long as I ignore the "3" on the CPU box. :whistler:

That sucks about the RAM; if you got it from Newegg I think they have a cross-ship option if it comes DOA where they ship the new part before they get your old one. I know they at the very least give you a prepaid shipping label for DOA stuff.

Me neither actually, but I had a roomate in college who was...I don't want to say obsessed, but he'd played all of the games and so had his girlfriend...enough jokes flew that I eventually figured out generally what was going on. :D

i know you went through all the trouble of painting that fan, but why not flip that guy upside down and hhave it pull air from the bottom and isolate it as a heat source from the rest of the case?

Large step forward this morning, My parts are Finally out of backorder and I have been able to place my order. Also thanks for the comment on flipping the psu fan over but I feel there is no need to do so, as there is almost never a side panel on the case. Expect a update in about a week :)

Yours is loud? I have the 3x 200mm, 1x 230mm, 3x 240mm and the DD pump and it is crazy silent.

And what 2 types of RAM are you using?

I am using 4gb of sector5 and 4gb of ripjaw, also says under "My system" :whistler:
Also my pump is silent but the fans are: Speed: 2000 rpm, Air Flow: 80 CFM, Noise Level: <25 dBA

False? Heat rises so you need to pull the hot air out.
